What to Say During the Day in Mafia: 25 Questions and Lines for Beginners

Day one: when there is no information

• "Nobody has spoken yet — shall we start with seat three?" — opens the discussion without sidelining you.
• "On day one I only watch and vote at the end" — an honest position; then stick to it.
• "Who is for a skip? Give a reason" — remember the list of skip supporters.
• "If we voted right now, whom would you pick?" — the most useful question: everyone has to commit.

Accusing

• "Sardor, yesterday you voted for X and he turned out innocent — why?" — a fact-based accusation, the strongest form.
• "You agree with everyone but have no candidate of your own — who?" — exposes the "friends with everyone".
• "The commissioner called Y black, and you defended Y" — marks those who did not trust the commissioner.
• "Z died at night. Who pushed hardest against Z?" — ties the day's accusations to the night's result.

Defending yourself

• "I am a townsperson. Remember whom I voted for yesterday — he turned out mafia" — defence with evidence.
• "Lynch me and you will see my role in the morning and lose a day. Ask X first" — a reasoned redirect.
• "Why me exactly? Name a fact, not a feeling" — forces the accuser to prove it.

When the commissioner reveals

• "A tie lynches nobody — someone has to decide" — moves the game along.
